UWM at Washington County announces performing arts series

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Washington County is pleased to announce the 2019-20 performing arts schedule. The campus will host four visiting artists, including:

Roots Rock Society, Friday, Oct. 25, 7:30 p.m.

All ages will enjoy this culturally rich performance of warm and joyful rhythms of the Caribbean and beyond, with songs performed in English, Spanish, French and Swahili.

California Guitar Trio, Friday, Dec. 6, 7:30 p.m.

Performing together for 25 years, this trio’s wizardry of the guitar is amazing – from the Beatles to Bach.

Socks in the Frying Pan, Friday, March 6, 7:30 p.m.

From County Clare Ireland, this award-winning trio performs Irish traditional music in time for St. Pat’s Day.

Wisconsin Brass Quintet, Friday, April 17, 7:30 p.m.

Regarded as one of the “superb brass ensembles in the U.S.A.” by MusicWeb International, the Wisconsin Brass Quintet is comprised of faculty from UW-Madison.

All performances take place in the campus theater, located on the second floor of the Washington County campus at 400 S. University Drive in West Bend. Free parking is available.
