The university will host its annual UW-Milwaukee Day at Wisconsin State Fair on Sunday, Aug. 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is held in the fair’s Central Park.

There will be food, games, giveaways, live performances and the annual Roar Like a Panther contest for kids. UWM will also host a scavenger hunt, and the first 1000 fairgoers to complete it will receive free sunglasses and towels.

Fairgoers will meet UWM students, faculty, staff and athletes. Because of the recent UW System restructuring, UWM community members from the Waukesha and Washington County campuses will also participate for the first time.
