Following the lead of Wisconsin emergency services authorities, the tornado drill scheduled for Thursday, April 11, has been postponed for a day because of the possibility of severe weather. A winter storm is forecast to hit much of the state on Thursday.
The drill at UWM will take place Friday at the same times they were scheduled for Thursday: 9:30 a.m. in the Northwest Quad and 1 p.m. on the rest of campus.
Authorities postponed the drill for fear that a real severe weather warning could be confused with a drill.
