Taisik Hwang, visiting assistant professor of journalism, advertising and media studies, is looking for on-campus clients, including schools, colleges and departments, that his social media analytics students can work with during the Fall 2018 semester.

Hwang will host 30-minute information sessions in Bolton Hall 581 on Thursday, Aug. 23, at 1 p.m. and Friday, Aug, 24, at 10 a.m. to discuss the project in more detail.

Clients will gain actionable insights and practical recommendations from the students to improve their social media engagement. Clients will receive various analytics reports, including predictive analytics and network analysis reports.

Clients will also foster student success. This work will provide hands-on experience for students to analyze social media data and write analytics reports for clients. Each student will have a mock job interview with their client at the end of semester.
