The UWM community will participate in Make a Difference Day on Saturday, Nov. 11. From 8 a.m. to noon, volunteers will help with citywide neighborhood cleanups and will assist older residents in preparing their homes for winter.
The deadline to register is Nov. 3. Faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to join the UWM effort.
UWM volunteers can sign up as individuals or with a team. To register as a team, please come up with a team name and provide each team member’s name, email address and phone number. Individual volunteers will be grouped as a team before being sent out to do service.
On the day of the event, participants will meet in the Student Union Wisconsin Room at 8 a.m. to check in. Breakfast will be provided.
