New applications added to Office 365

Starting Monday, Sept. 18, Office 365 will have four new applications that will assist collaboration and make teamwork flexible.

Groups allows users to share mailboxes, calendars, OneNote Notebooks and document libraries within Office 365.

Microsoft Teams allows collaborators to chat, store documents, share calendars and collaborate in real time. The application is mobile friendly and allows new members to review previously shared content.

Microsoft Planner allows users to organize, assign and discuss tasks. All team members can track the status of a delegated task.

Microsoft StaffHub helps teams manage work schedules within Office365. It is available through browser and through mobile applications.

UWM Knowledgebase now has articles and tutorials about Groups, Teams, Planner or StaffHub.
