“The Last Lecture” program

When Randy Pausch was diagnosed with cancer, he was asked to give one last lecture at Carnegie Mellon University. He presented the much-publicized “Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams.”

In the spirit of Pausch’s upbeat lecture, Mortar Board national honor society is bringing the Last Lecture program to UWM to give professors an opportunity to leave behind a legacy. The event will be held on Tuesday, May 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Union Fireside Lounge. Refreshments will be provided.

Many students meet professors who challenge or inspire them. This event seeks to recognize impactful educators by giving them the opportunity to talk about something that they are passionate about.
