Media advisory: Panther Tour Bus to visit northern Illinois June 4

MILWAUKEE – The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is taking its show and school spirit on the road. The Panther Tour Bus is scheduled to visit locations in northern Illinois on Friday, June 4.

Students who have been admitted to the university can stop by to pick up UWM swag, such as UWM water bottles and “Future Panther” yard signs. University representatives will be on hand to answer students’ questions.

The bus tour comes as UWM gears up to provide a more traditional college experience in Fall 2021 as the pandemic abates amid widespread vaccinations. UWM expects to go back to a much higher percentage of in-person classes and events, while putting to use the lessons learned about safety and the flexibility offered by online learning.

Advance registration is requested for students at uwm.edu/panthertourbus.
