MILWAUKEE _ In a year that underscored equity gaps in our community and across the nation, M³ reinforced its commitment to making sure that more underrepresented students of color have the opportunity to earn a college degree. By doing so, M³ (pronounced M-Cubed) partners — Milwaukee Public Schools, Milwaukee Area Technical College and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee — believe they can help build southeastern Wisconsin’s diverse talent pool and transform the future of Milwaukee through education.

In the next session of M³ | Education Transformed, a virtual event series, the leaders of Milwaukee’s three largest urban institutions of public education will be joined by Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce President Tim Sheehy to talk about the importance of generating college-level success in high schools and growing and diversifying the regional workforce pipeline.

M³ efforts to address this need include the M³ College Connections dual enrollment program. College Connections graduates are entering college at a rate higher than the national average and have saved nearly $750,000 in college costs by earning credits while in high school.
