Every year during 414 for UWM Giving Days, UWM alumni, employees, students and friends from around the world come together to fuel Panther success. On April 14 and 15, they’ll do so again by giving the gift of UWM to create life-changing opportunities.

Early giving is already underway, and you can see real-time progress updates during the two-day event on the Giving Days website. You’ll also find information on the many ways to help, celebrate and join in the fun. Here are just some of the items to add to your calendar:

  • Share a doughnut with a donor at Sprinkled with Gratitude on Monday, April 14, 9-10 a.m. in the UWM Student Union concourse.
  • Keep an eye out for the Quiz Cab, which will be traveling around campus 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 14. Students who catch a ride can win prizes for themselves and earn funding to support the area of their choice.
  • Grab a bite to eat, play yard games, airbrush a custom T-shirt, and connect with friends and colleagues at Panthers on the Plaza on April 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Spaights Plaza.
  • Take part in one of several challenges, which will unlock additional support for funds when specific giving goals are met.
  • Become a 414 for UWM Advocate and share your love for UWM through social media channels using #414forUWM to encourage support during Giving Days.

Giving the gift of UWM provides vital resources that help students thrive. It paves the way for groundbreaking research and trusted community partnerships. In short, it’s a powerful gift with limitless potential to change the world for the better.

The revamped 414 for UWM Giving Days website makes it easier than ever to give to the area of UWM that’s most important to you. Consider making a gift to our greatest need, the Panther Pathways Scholarship Fund, which provides unrestricted scholarship funds to any undergraduate student. Or the Ignite Fund, which supports programs and research that uplifts the UWM experience.

However you choose to show your support, you’ll do so as part of a community that’s full of Panther pride, and you’ll have the gratitude of past, present and future UWM students.
