Graduate Certificate in Cyber Crime Forensics information session

An information session on the graduate certificate in Cyber Crime Forensics will take place Wednesday, May 26, at 5:30 p.m. on Zoom. Representatives from the Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology and the School of Information Studies, Dr. Danielle Romain Dagenhardt and Khaled Sabha, will present an overview of the graduate certificate, a discussion of careers in cyber crime forensics and an opportunity to ask questions.

The graduate certificate in Cyber Crime Forensics is offered in collaboration with the School of Information Studies and the Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology. The satisfactory completion of a sequence of courses will lead to a certificate in this growing area.

Preparation includes a foundation in cyber crime theory, legal and policy issues of cyber crime and digital forensic investigation. This graduate certificate prepares students for work as cybersecurity analysts in a variety of settings, including the private sector, government agencies, law enforcement, and tech, financial and defense industries.
