Kenilworth Square East – a six-floor, 500,000-square-foot, industrial artist studio space home to more than 100 award-winning student and faculty artists of UWM’s Peck School of the Arts – opened its doors to visitors on Saturday, April 13, to show the public art as it was being created.
During the tenth annual Kenilworth Open Studios event, Peck School faculty opened laboratory, studio and workshop doors and invited the community in to watch live art in the making. More than 1,000 guests trekked in to experience four hours of art exhibitions and film screenings; live music, theater and dance performances; demonstrations and hands-on activities for all ages.
