UWM will be offering on-site clinics for free flu shots through the Well Wisconsin Program. This event is for employees and their spouses who are enrolled in a State of Wisconsin Group Health Insurance plan. The flu shot will vaccinate against the four most likely causes of flu illness during the upcoming season, including the H1N1 strain of influenza.
Pre-registration through the StayWell portal is required to get a flu shot. No walk-ins, cash payments or insurance payments can be accepted.
How to register for a free flu shot:
1. Log in to your StayWell Portal.
2. Click on My Dashboard, then the Flu Shot Clinics tab.
3. Click on Register Now, scroll down to UW-Milwaukee and click on Register to select an available appointment time. If you prefer, you may select a different location that has open registration to get your flu shot.
4. Please bring your appointment confirmation email with you to your appointment, wear a short-sleeved shirt to receive the flu shot and bring your health insurance ID card.
