Come explore the brand-new Mini Museum of Natural History

Whether you have a minute or an hour to spare, the UWM community is invited to explore the brand-new Mini Museum of Natural History and experience the wonders of biology on the first floor of the south wing of Lapham Hall.

The Department of Biological Science’s Mini Museum of Natural History features 32 museum-style displays that cover a range of topics in natural history and biology, including: the diversity of groups of organisms, natural selection, pollination, invasive species, mimicry, extinction and the fossil record and more. It is located within cabinets that line the first floor of Lapham Hall, and has displays that primarily feature the department’s zoological specimen collection, along with signage and diagrams.

The museum is open to visitors during building hours, and we invite you to explore the Mini Museum of Natural History and experience the wonders of biology!
