The use of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee name, logos, marks and other references requires the permission of the university and use of a licensed vendor. External Relations in University Relations & Communications can assist departments, student organizations and other units interested in buying UWM-branded materials.
External Relations maintains a list of licensed vendors. Two in the area are Abacus Marketing LLC and Magellan Collegiate Promotions. These licensed vendors already have UWM and Panther logos, so units ordering products will not have to provide artwork.
All designs must be approved by Licensing Director Kevin O’Connor. He’s happy to work with units at any step during the design process to ensure compliance is matched with creativity. Design assistance is available from UWM’s Union Marketing or the design team in University Relations.
