Anonymous hotline, website available to you to report potential fraud, waste, abuse

The UW System launched a new hotline and website this past spring that gives you an anonymous way to report any instances of fraud, waste, and abuse you might encounter in your studies or while at work.

The UW System launched a new hotline and website this past spring that gives you an anonymous way to report any instances of fraud, waste, and abuse you might encounter in your studies or while at work.

This is an easy, anonymous way for students, staff, and faculty to report something they believe to be wasteful or wrong.
As UW System President Ray Cross shared earlier this year, we know these instances are rare. However, even one case of academic misconduct such as cheating, theft of university property, or other activity that is unethical, unsafe, or illegal impacts everyone.

Please visit and bookmark the new website address and hotline phone number should you ever need to use them.

• The website is found at https://uwaudithotline.tnwreports.com/.
• The hotline is (855) 827-4950.
• Both are available 24-7.

You are encouraged to reach out to an instructor, manager, or supervisor if you see or hear something wrong. They are ready to listen and to provide help and guidance. If you want to remain anonymous, the new website and hotline are there for you, too. UWM and UW System Administration carefully review each matter reported and take action as appropriate.

Thank you for your contributions, and thank you for playing a role in helping UWM be a safe, ethical, and healthy place for everyone who learns, lives and works here.
