A world of desserts right here on the UWM campus

Want to try your hand at making a Mexican chocoflan, Romanian Easter Bread or tiramisu? Or how about sampling a few delicious desserts from around the world?

UW-Milwaukee’s third annual international dessert competition will be 3:30 to 5 p.m. April 18 at Greene Hall, 3347 N. Downer Ave.

All UWM undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to enter. Students may enter individually or as a team. A panel of judges from the community will award prizes. The public is welcome to attend and sample desserts from different cultures and countries.

Here is the place to register, find more information and gaze longingly at some of last year’s tasty competitors and winners.
