NHO Week

NHO Week 2020 will be from February 24th-28th and consists of a series of events focused on giving student renters opportunities to learn more about off-campus life. From the Preferred Tenant Program to the Housing Fair, the events offer students access to the resources necessary for a successful off-campus living experience. Attendance at an event enters students into our raffle! Raffle prizes from 2019 included Amazon giftcards, Apple AirPods, Yeti coolers, and other prizes!

Sip and Spin, April 15th 

Stop by the Neighborhood Housing Office anytime on Monday, April 15th 2019, to sip some coffee and spin the renting wheel! This is the perfect time to ask any off-campus housing questions you may have and learn more about the resources and services that we have to offer!

 

Preferred Tenant Program, April 15th 

The PTP is a seminar designed to give students an in depth understanding about living off-campus as well as rights and responsibilities as tenants in Milwaukee. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible for $250 off of a security deposit and/or 2% off of monthly rent through participating landlords. This event is scheduled to take place on April 15th from 5-8pm in the Northwest Quadrant Room 1871. Sign up for the Preferred Tenant Program will be available after spring break!

Legal Clinic Lease Review, April 16th

Bring your potential or current lease to the Legal Clinic for a free review with legal staff! Learn what common, legal agreements are and how to watch out for illegal clauses.

Housing Fair, April 17th

The Annual Housing Fair is a showcase of properties that are available in the area. Landlords and management companies are invited to campus to promote their available rentals to prospective off-campus residents. Come explore and begin your search for your off-campus home on April 17th, 2019 in the Union Concourse from 11am-5pm.
