Neighborhood Housing is currently hiring for the following positions:

All positions have a starting pay rate of $12/hour. Students with a work study award will be given preference, but it is not a requirement for employment. Year round positions have the opportunity to begin in the Spring or Summer months depending on hire date. Positions that require a minimum commitment of one semester will tentatively begin in August 2022, but an earlier date may be negotiable.

  • Undergraduate student level positions
    • Outreach Educators (Hiring for August 2022)
      • Outreach Educators will support the activities of the External Relations and Neighborhood Housing Office through the coordination of the Preferred Tenant Program, follow-ups, rental education campaigns, and events. Multiple hires being made for this position. Year-round position
    • Social Media Intern (Hiring for August 2022)
      • The Social Media Intern will focus on maintaining and improving the Neighborhood Housing Office’s social media presence while ensuring all content is strategic, updated and in line with the NHO mission and UWM branding guidelines. One semester minimum commitment required
    • Data Analyst Intern (Filled)
      • The Data Analyst Intern will support the activities of the Neighborhood Housing Office by surveying students and analyzing data. One semester minimum commitment required
    • Digital Marketing Intern (Filled)
      • The Digital Marketing Intern will focus on maintaining and improving the Neighborhood Housing Office’s website while ensuring all web content is strategic, updated, and in line with the NHO mission and UWM branding guidelines.One semester minimum commitment required
    • Marketing Coordinator (Filled)
      • The Marketing Coordinator supports the activities of the  Neighborhood Housing Office by promoting the mission of the NHO through rental education marketing campaigns.Year-round position
    • Sponsorships and Advertising Intern (Filled)
      • The Sponsorships and Advertising Specialist will support the activities of the Neighborhood Housing Office through outreach with property owners and local businesses and ensuring the fulfillment of agreements. Year-round position

Graduate Level and Senior student positions:

  • Neighborhood Housing Supervisor $13/hour
    • This role will supervise student employees of positions listed above and oversee the day to day operations of the Neighborhood Housing Office
  • Programming Coordinator $13/hour
    •  This position will focus on program/event planning and execution in a student-centric and learning-focused framework.
