This is a four-week program designed for veterans looking for a unique approach to self-awareness. Your first session will include a tour of the facility, basic horse safety, introduction to the healing power of horses and observation of the herd. Subsequent sessions, each two-hours long, will include hands-on interactions with horses including individual and team-work activities in the arena. Each session is designed to challenge you and the horse, using life skills to engage the horses in various arena activities in a fun, active, and collaborative environment. The sessions will begin with an opening check-in circle and a closing reflection circle, followed by lunch in the community room.
