Title:
Large-scale geometry of right-angled Coxeter groups

Description/Abstract:

I will report on progress on the quasi-isometry classification of right-angled Coxeter groups, beginning with an outline of what may be discerned using previously studied quasi-isometry invariants such as divergence, thickness and contracting boundaries. I will then describe a finer classification using splittings over 2-ended subgroups and topological features of the visual boundary. Finally, I will discuss the connection with commensurability. This is joint work with Anne Thomas.
