“Models help us understand reality. Models of chaos usually have quite uniform behavior, unlike reality. My goal is to produce models that are simplistic but better reflect typical high dimensional chaotic attractors and permit a better but still simple-minded understanding of chaos in high dimensions. This is a report on joint work with Yoshi Saiki, Miguel Sanjuan, Hiroki Takahashi, and Shuddho Das”.
