On a class of dynamic advertising and pricing models

Dynamic advertising and pricing models are a special class of (state) discrete stochastic control problems motivated by business applications.   The talk will focus on the mathematical foundations of these problems and will review some recent results. The talk is based on joint work (see reference below) with R. Schlosser, T. Templin, M. Weber (Berlin) and T. Kurtz (Madison).
