DESCRIPTION:Presenters interested in the judging process can learn more about what evaluators look for during the competition. \nJudges assess each pitch based on the clarity of the problem and solution\, the strength of the value proposition\, and the evidence of customer discovery and market validation using Lean Launch principles. Presenters will also be evaluated on their overall business idea and the effectiveness of their 4-minute pitch and responses during the Q&A. DESCRIPTION:The UWM Research Foundation (UWMRF) is hosting an express license talk for faculty and student entrepreneurs to help develop and commercialize their ideas on February 25\, 2022 from 12:00-1:00pm in the UWM Lubar Entrepreneurship Center Manpower Room\, room #211. \nThe session will launch the UWMRF’s new Express License Agreement (ELA)\, a fast-track process designed to streamline the contract negotiation\, reduce legal costs\, and provide a license that has a predefined set of terms and conditions. The ELA is a standard\, non-negotiable\, exclusive license agreement specifically designed for startups founded by UWM faculty\, staff\, and students\, and it offers standard terms that are reasonable for both parties and eliminates the hassle to negotiate a license agreement. \nIf you have questions about the session or the new ELA or would like to RSVP\, contact Smruti Patil\, UWMRF Licensing Associate\, at smruti@uwmrf.org. \nRSVP here
