Pitch In at Light Speed Competition

Got an idea? Not sure where to start? Check out the Pitch In at Light Speed Competition!

The Pitch In at Light Speed Competition is an opportunity to win some money for your innovations or ideas, and this year’s competition is tailored to benefit both experienced pitchers AND first time pitchers.

First time pitchers will be able to work closely with professionals from Y.E.S., Northwestern Mutual, and others who have launched a start-up business venture to develop an impactful pitch. Later, three winners will be selected for the Entry Level competition. These three winners will each receive a $100 award.

For those who have more experience delivering pitches, it is strongly recommended to submit additional information in the registration and compete separately for a larger prize. Participants are competing for: First place $1000, Second place $700, Third place $500. Experience Level pitchers will be notified that they qualify for the advanced competition one week before the event via phone and email.

$2,500 in awards from The UWM Foundation made possible by Northwestern Mutual. The Pitch In at Light Speed Competition is powered by:  UWM Black Student Cultural Center, UWM Lubar Entrepreneurship CenterNorthwestern Mutual and Young Enterprising Society (Y.E.S.).
