Lubar School of Business: Competition and Award Winners

The Lubar Entrepreneurship Center wishes to congratulate all of the winners of the Lubar School of Business competitions, CEO’s Entrepreneur of the Year and La Macchia’s New Venture Business Plan Competition (NVBPC).

The winner of the CEO Entrepreneur of the Year Award is Anthony Nash, Founder and CEO of Feel Good MKE. Feel Good MKE is a Milwaukee-proud design company that strives to celebrate and unite the local community. For those looking to follow in Anthony’s footsteps and launch their own startups, Anthony has offered his advice:

The New Venture Business Plan Competition winners are as follows:

1st Prize ($10,000): Oversite

2nd Prize ($5,000): Lëvor
Lëvor: All-natural organic hair care products for all hair types. Loren Nelson, BBA Marketing, 2021.
 
3rd Prize Tie ($2,500): MuStick & Red Yeti Racing
MuStick: Music education company that manufactures stickers to help beginners learn and identify notes, scales, and chords on guitars.  Kai Kishpaugh, Undecided, 2023.
Red Yeti Racing: Web-based platform that enables customers to schedule and rent sports cars for high-speed, racetrack driving experiences. Michael Loreto Cerny, MBA 2020.
 
Honorable Mention ($500): Aha! Learning & Dabble Live Art
Aha! Learning: Web-based, interactive platform that enables online learners to connect and share knowledge.  Cabren Spangler, BS Mechanical Engineering, 2023.
Dabble Live Art: Web-based art studio that guides aspiring artists with step-by-step tutorials via high-quality live and recorded sessions.  Ross Younger, MBA 2020; Yundan Chen, MS, Management Marketing 2019.
