The third annual 2018 UWM Innovators Expo commenced on May 1st, 2018, bringing over 75 student startup teams, UWM clubs, and local organizations together to present their message to over 150 guests!
Hosted jointly by the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, Lubar School of Business, College of Engineering & Applied Science, and the University Innovation Fellows, guests gathered to experience “Innovations and Inventors through Time,” featuring a human Benjamin Franklin statue and hired UWM inventor actors.
There were over 30 Student Startup Challenge teams that completed the program this year, ranging from Kyra Ardent’s Kiddy K’s kiddy cocktails to Aaron O’Connell’s Virtual Reality Spanish Immersion and Cheyenne McGlaston’s Positive Vibes Fit and Wellness.
On behalf of the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, we would like to thank all of our contributors and participants. It wouldn’t be possible without all of you. And we are deeply grateful to UWM for creating such a diverse and innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus. We are so excited for our new building on campus so we can continue to grow!
