Check Out Well Entrepreneur’s Newest Series: Everyday Resilience!

Well Entrepreneur is excited to share that we are one of the recipients of the Charles E. Kubly Foundation 2022 Grant, supporting projects that raise awareness, educate and reduce the stigma of mental health. With the support of the grant, Amelia Coffaro, Well Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the LEC and founder of Well Entrepreneur, has unveiled the newest event series in the program: Everyday Resilience

Created in a partnership with Susan Lubar and Growing Minds, this series will explore how the neuroscience, principles, and practices of mindfulness and self-compassion can serve as accessible tools to cultivate sustainable well-being and deepen a sense of purpose in your daily life and work. Investing your time in this series will support you in learning to lead from a place of intention, using your attention to navigate difficulties, and embrace joy.

Participants are welcome to sign up for an individual session or the full series, and need only to attend the morning or evening sessions. Participation at each of the three sessions is encouraged but not necessary.

Please join us on Wednesday, February 1st from 12:00 – 1:00 PM  at the LEC for an Everyday Resilience orientation session! Tea, coffee and snacks will be served. For more information on session topics, dates and times, and to register for the FREE session(s), check out the Everyday Resilience main page below. This offering is open to all UWM students, faculty, staff, and members of the Milwaukee community.

We believe the benefits of these practices and tools reach beyond personal well-being and can serve as a bridge to create a community of collective care where health and flourishing are the center of our workplaces, schools, and daily life. We look forward to sharing this experience with you!
