Professor Mukul Goyal is an Associate Professor in Computer Science  at UW-Milwaukee. He received a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from Ohio State University in 2003 and has been a faculty member at UWM since 2004. In addition to UWM, he has worked at Brooklyn College – CUNY, AT&T Research and Siemens in various positions. His teaching interests include operating systems, computer networks and stochastic modeling. He has been regularly teaching several operating systems courses at UWM including “Introduction to Operating Systems” and “Real-Time Operating Systems”. His past research interests include design and performance evaluation of various protocols used in computer networks including wireless sensor networks and Internet of Things. Prof Goyal’s research in the field of computer networks has been extensively published.
