Two LEC Innovation Scholarships are now accepting applicants, but not for long! The Hoque Scholarship for Innovation and the Patricia H. Weisberg Innovation Scholarship are open until Friday, February 17th.
Application is easy – we only need the following:
- A brief summary of your innovative and/or creative abilities as demonstrated on- or off-campus OR a two-minute-long video addressing this prompt, and
- The name and email address of a UWM Faculty or staff member who is willing to provide a positive reference for you.
By applying to the LEC Innovations Scholarships Application, you are applying to both scholarships at the same time. Please note that these scholarships are open to students of all disciplines – a business major is NOT required to apply. Here are additional details on each of the scholarships:
Hoque Scholarship for Innovation
Scholarships for freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, and transfer students with a demonstrated interest in science and/or either business or entrepreneurship with a preference for students involved in programming at the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center.
Patricia H. Weisberg Innovation Scholarship
Awarded to UWM undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, and transfer students with innovative and/or creative abilities, demonstrated through on- or off-campus activities.
