Office 2016 for Mac is now available for all L&S-managed Macs through the self-service software application–Microsoft expects to release the corresponding Windows version of Office in late 2015 or early 2016.
Office 2016 offers improved stability, better integration with Office 365 and OneDrive, and the ability to use co-authoring features with Office Online users from your desktop Office applications. To use the self-service application to download and install Office 2016, you’ll need two things:
- Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite)
- The self-service software application included on L&S-managed Macs
