We&#8217;ll prepare you to work in a variety of classroom settings with diverse groups of students.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our English and language arts graduates go on to teach students to be critical thinkers, persuasive writers, confident speakers and meticulous researchers. Our program is for individuals who want to teach a world language to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in one of the following languages: American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Latin or Spanish.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learning a world language can help students do more than just develop fluency in another language: It can improve their thinking skills, build positive attitudes toward different cultures and help them become more globally minded individuals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--header\">Exceptional Education, BS: Special Education, K4-12<\/div><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel\"><div class=\"uwm-p-accordion--panel-inner uwm-u-clear\">\n<p>Want to make a difference in the lives of elementary and middle school students with disabilities?
