UWM Linguistics will be well represented at this year’s SSWAMP, hosted by Northwestern University. Abdel-Rahman Abu Helal will present a talk entitled “Evidential qad in Standard Arabic.” And Nick Fleisher will present the invited faculty talk, entitled “Ellipsis licensing via alternatives.”
