China in Africa<\/h2>\n

Join the Department of African and African Diaspora Studies<\/a> for the AADS Seminar Series <\/span>(embedded within the Department of Geography<\/a>\u2019s Colloquium) on March 13 featuring Professor Istv\u00e1n Tarr\u00f3sy, director of international studies at the University of P\u00e9cs in Hungary, for his lecture “China in Africa.” His research interests include African\/Asian relations, African migration, and geopolitics.<\/span><\/p>\n

The seminar will be held from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the American Geographical Society Library on the third floor in the east wing of the Golda Meir Library. A reception with light refreshments will follow. Those planning on attending the seminar are asked to RSVP<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The seminar is co-sponsored by the Center for Research on International Economics<\/a>, the Division of Community Empowerment & Institutional Inclusivity<\/a>, and Economics<\/a>, Geography, and International Studies<\/a>.<\/p>\n
