The 2016 Ettinger Book Artist Series Lecture was held on November 16, 2016 at 7:00 PM.
Jim Moran is the Museum Director at the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Moran runs letterpress workshops, archives the collection, and maintains the museum on a daily basis. Previously, Moran worked as apprentice, pressman, partner, and owner at Moran’s Quality Print Shop in Green Bay, Wisconsin with his father and grandfather for over 35 years.
For the Ettinger presentation, Moran discussed his own work, as well as the many dynamic changes and activities that have occurred at the Hamilton Museum in the past few years.
