To commemorate Native American Heritage Month, this exhibition presents selections from the Native American Literature Collection in Special Collections, one of the largest such collections in the upper Midwest. The exhibition, curated by Special Collections graduate intern Olivia Hickner, will remain on view in the Daniel M. Soref Learning Commons through December 11, 2022.

The Native American Literature Collection focuses on preserving contemporary and historical literary output and critical scholarship by Indigenous and First Nations creators from across North America, and includes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, children’s books, comic books, art books, native language materials, transcriptions of oral literature, and journalism.
