Cooperative Access Program (CAP) – faculty and staff at UWM have borrowing privileges at Marquette University and at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) libraries through CAP. Faculty wishing to borrow items from Marquette must present a current UWM ID to Marquette Circulation Desk staff. A voucher will be issued to obtain a borrowing card that can be purchased for $5 in Marquette’s student union. If visiting MCW, simply present your current UWM ID to staff at those libraries to receive your borrowing card. Please see the Cooperative Access Program page for complete information on this program. If you have further questions, please contact Circulation staff at (414) 229-4132 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
University of Wisconsin System Libraries – all UWM faculty, staff and students have in-person borrowing privileges at all UW campus libraries throughout the state. Privileges differ from campus to campus but in all cases either a current UWM ID or a government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, passport, or tribal ID) is required as proof of employment or enrollment before privileges are granted. UWM Faculty, Staff, and students may request material from other UW Libraries directly through the Online Catalog.
Wisconsin Historical Society Library – the Wisconsin Historical Society Library is located on the UW-Madison campus. A UW-Madison borrowing card issued to UWM faculty, staff and students is needed to borrow materials. This card may be obtained at the UW-Madison Memorial Library by showing your UWM ID card.
