This month the UWM Libraries welcomed four library students from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) to Milwaukee for a summer internship program at the UWM Libraries, Milwaukee Public Library, and Marquette University Raynor Memorial Libraries.
The students–Yan Zhang, Li An Chiou, Ruei-Shyuan (Ben) Chen, and Yi-Shan (Kelly) Hsieh–will also be taking a class in UWM’s School of Information Studies (SOIS) during their ten weeks in the city.
This is the seventh NTNU cohort to participate in this program.
UWM Libraries staff and representatives from SIOS, MPL and Marquette attended a reception for the students in the Conference Center of the UWM Golda Meir Library on June 5.
