Established in 1995, the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee for LGBTQ+ Advocacy is a non-elected, standing committee devoted to improving climate and diversity at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
The committee is charged with making recommendations related to current and proposed policies and practices that affect LGBTQ+ employees and students. It collaborates with campus groups and offices to increase awareness of these topics. The committee meets monthly and reports to the Chancellor.
