SUMMARY:Celebrating 10 Years of Coffeeshop Astrophysics
DESCRIPTION:Coffeeshop Astrophysics is a science outreach group formed 10 years ago. Over the past decade\, graduate students and other professionals from the UWM Department of Physics have given dozens of science talks at Anodyne Coffee in Walker’s Point on wide-ranging topics in physics. \nTo celebrate the 10th anniversary a special presentation will be given by former members of our group covering the importance of science communication and the connections made with the Milwaukee community. \nDoors open at 6 pm\, and the presentation will begin at 6:30 pm.
