When to Declare

Students interested in the Certificate in Death Investigation are encouraged to speak with the Coordinator, Dr. Emily Middleton, as soon as possible. Dr. Middleton is best reached by email at middleto@uwm.edu.

Requirements to Declare

All options within the certificate require at least a basic knowledge of chemistry and biology. To meet this requirement, prior to registering themselves in the Death Investigation Certificate Program, students must successfully complete CHEM 100 or equivalent and BIO SCI 100 or equivalent.
