The Office of Legal Affairs represents the University and provides counsel to any UWM employee who represents the University’s interests and has questions arising in the course and scope of their employment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our office does not represent or provide legal advice to students, the general public, or UWM employees on personal matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students:<\/strong> please visit Law for Learners<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personal matters: <\/strong>you may contact the State Bar of Wisconsin<\/a> or the Milwaukee Bar Association<\/a> for a lawyer referral. If you are a UWM employee<\/strong>, you may also utilize UWM’s Employee Assistance Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
