DESCRIPTION:Monday September 28\, 2026\n3:00pm – 5:00pm (drop in any time)\nCurtin Hall room 187 (language oasis)\nAll are welcome!\n\nJoin UWM’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies for a back-to-campus gathering to kick off the new academic year! In anticipation of our upcoming move to Curtin Hall in 2027 (date TBD\, stay tuned!) we will be gathering in the language oasis on Curtin’s first floor. \nStop by to reconnect and meet new people as we settle into the routines of the academic year! Enjoy light snacks\, learn about our center’s upcoming programs\, and share your own updates with CLACS staff and other classmates and colleagues. \nNew this year: if you traveled to Latin America\, the Caribbean\, or otherwise enjoyed Latin American culture beyond campus in the past academic year\, please share a photo with us to highlight on a rotating slide show! \n\nBy Monday 9/21: email 1-3 photos to Monica (vanblade@uwm.edu) and include your UWM program/department and the date & location of your photo\n\nWe look forward to seeing you there!
