A car crash left Abbey Palmer unable to continue her career as a massage therapist. Casting about for what to do, she decided to pursue her love of languages and linguistics at UWM. On Sunday, she graduated with a major in Linguistics, minors in Chinese and Russian, and experience teaching English to refugees at the International Learning Center. In the fall, she’s heading to Oxford University in England to pursue a Master’s degree in applied linguistics and second language acquisition. Congratulations, Abbey!
