Congratulations to Christine Evans, assistant professor of history and faculty coordinator of UWM’s Russian and East European Studies certificate, who has authored two pieces in the latest issue of the European Journal of Cultural Studies (volume 20, number 3, June 2017): the essay “Producing Global Media Memories: Media Events and the Power Dynamics of Transnational Television History,” co-authored with Lars Lundgren; and a book review of Anikó Imre’s TV Socialism.
