Jody Forbeck has a BA in Italian Studies from UW-Milwaukee. She lived in Italy for fourteen years and taught English and worked as a translator there. She is now a graduate student at UWM pursuing an MA in Translating and Interpreting Studies and Italian Literature. She works as a graduate assistant in the Language Resource Center supporting faculty from all language departments but especially ESL and Italian.
