From Immigrant to Migrant — The Politics of (French) Hospitality, a conversation in English and in French with readings from his latest work.

Where his first autobiographical novel, Le Gone du Chaâba tells about growing up as the son of Algerian immigrants in the poor neighborhoods of Lyon, France, Mémoires au soleil (2018), speaks to issues of memory (personal, political and historical) as the disease “d’Ali Zaïmeur” consumes the father of the main character, Azouz.
