Congratulations to MALLT students Ewurama Okine and Loretta Mulberry, dessert champions!

Ewurama Okine and Loretta Mulberry entered the 5th Annual UWM International Dessert Competition as Team Shuga n Spyce. These MALLT students (Translation>Spanish to English) prepared a Chocolate Nkate Cake with Sobolo Ice Cream, which they called a Ghanaian/United States fusion that was a big hit with the judges and event attendees alike: they won first place in the team competition and also won the People’s Choice award for the favorite dessert of audience members!
