The narrative podcast category honors revealing, long-form stories with a range of interviews and sophisticated writing &amp; editing.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>National SPJ winners competed against the best student work from 12 regions. Pagel joins students from Harvard, Stanford, Brown, Northwestern, Missouri and many more top schools and journalism programs.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>Also, in the same national contest, the JAMS 502: Immersive Journalism Experience class project, &#8220;Beyond the Barricades,&#8221; was named a national finalist for general news reporting.
