Please join the Japanese Program for a screening of the wonderful film Thermae Romae featuring subtitles by students in the UWM Japanese Program. This film is headlined by the oh-so-dreamy Abe Hiroshi and is based on the manga series of the same name.

This screening is the second in a semester-long series showcasing the work of students in the Japanese Program course Japan 361: Translating Japanese Media. In the course, students work in teams to subtitle feature length Japanese films that are not commercially available in the US and do not have commercially available English subtitles. This series will feature one new film per month, so watch your inbox and the Japanese Program website for details on the rest of these wonderful films!
